VIAU, John - At the Cornwall Community Hospital, Second Street Site on Saturday, April 24, 2004. John P. Viau of Cornwall; age 67 years. Beloved husband of the former Thérèse Servais. Loving father of Suzanne Viau (Scott Dawson) of Cornwall and Brigette Viau of Casselman. Cherished pepère of Dominic, Chanelle and Marika Landry and Tarah and Troy Robinson. Dear son of the late Ernest Viau and the late Yvonne Levesque. Dear brother of Eugène, Philippe (Eva), Léo (Viola), Fernande Silmser and Roger (Agathe) all of Cornwall and Maurice (Armance) of Vermont. Predeceased by two brothers, René and Raymond and by two sisters, Claire and Flora. Sadly missed by in-laws, Claudette (Roger) Bissonnette, Gisèle (Basil) Taillefer, Mariette (Del) Laflèche, Lise (Bob) Legault and Maurice Servais all of Cornwall, Pauline (Germain) Gendreau and Denise (Cecil) Montroy both of Montreal, Québec. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (933-2841) from 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday, April 28, 2004 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Felix de Valois Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Wednesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
