WATTIE, Elizabeth - At the Janet MacDonell Pavilion, on Friday, April 23, 2004 The former Elizabeth May Winder of Cornwall (Member of the ATS, British Army, World War II Veteran and a member of the Overseas Wives Club (War Brides); age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late John Wattie. Dear mother of John Wattie (Lise) and Theresa Wattie both of Cornwall, Joseph Wattie, Pearl Upson and Maureen Wattie all of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Tracy, Edward, Jennifer, Melanie, Nicholas, Sarah, Elizabeth and Katherine and great-grandmother of Jessica, Rachel, Calum, MacGregor, Jordon and Justin. Dear daughter of the late Matthew Winder and the late Mabel May Wilder. Predeceased by two brothers, George and Edward and by three sisters, Edith, Edna and Bertha. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday, April 27, 2004 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columban’s Church at 10 a.m. Spring interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral on Tuesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Lung Association, Eastern Counties, would be appreciated by the family.
