DODGE, Winnifred "Winnie" (née North) Peacefully at the Ballycliffe Nursing Home, Ajax Ontario, Tuesday June 8, 2004 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Charlie and of the late Nellie (née Balcom) North. Dear wife of the late Loring A. Dodge, predeceased in 1995. Loving mother of George, wife Huguette Dodge of Sudbury, Kathryn Richer of Oshawa. Predeceased in 1986 by her daughter Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Dever. Dear sister of Elsie LeBorgne of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her sisters, Annie Woodbury, Ida Dakin, Mildred Fowler and by her brothers, George and Lewis. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren, Wendy Wright, Raymond Richer, Lorraine Gauthier, Susanne Richer, Linda, Loring Dodge and Carrie Moussa. Lovingly remembered by her 10 great-grandchildren. Winnifred came to Sudbury in her early fifties, residing in Sudbury until moving to Durham Region in 1996. Winnie enjoyed her nursing career. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, St. Joseph's Street, Hanmer, Friday from 1-2 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 11, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Hanmer.
