KILLAH, John In loving memory of John Killah, 78 years of Sudbury, who passed away Saturday, June 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. John came to Sudbury at age 3 from Scotland. He was an accomplished bowler, swimmer and hockey player in his younger years. He spent many years passing his knowledge on to younger players as a trainer for the Sudbury Minor Hockey Teams. John spent hours each year faithfully cheering on his Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays. A skilled machinist he was the foreman at the Frood-Stobie Machine Shop retiring from INCO with 41 years service. He was a member of the INCO 1/4 Century Club and an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br #564 Lockerby. He enjoyed each day to the fullest over the years especially with his canine buddies Butch, Rusty and Goldie. Beloved son of Alexander and Isabella (McLahan) Killah predeceased. Loving brother of Alex Jr. (Sam) and Bruce (Betty-Jone). Special friend of Betty Vaillancourt. Loving uncle of Troy, Krystal, Brenda (Nick), and Brian (Roxanne). Dear great uncle to Bradley, Sarah, Derek, Adam, Justin, Christopher, Matthew and Shelby. Will sadly be missed by many family members in Scotland. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA or Sudbury Regional Hospital-Heart Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
