SHLEMKEVYCH, Stephanie "Jackie" (nee Merkun) In loving memory of Stephanie (nee Merkun) Shlemkevych, 87 years formerly of Stanley St in Sudbury, who passed away Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Extendicare-York, Sudbury. She was born in Fort William and married Joseph Shlemkevych in 1937 in Sault Ste. Marie. Stephanie lived over 60 years in Sudbury. A woman of great faith she was a longtime member of All Nation's Baptist Church where she had supported its ministries and enjoyed its fellowship. Stephanie also enjoyed music, embroidery work, reading and gardening. She is now reunited with her husband and son in heaven. Beloved wife of Joseph Shlemkevych predeceased 1979. Loving mother of Joseph John Shlemkevych predeceased 1991. Dear mother in law of Donna Shlemkevych of Oshawa. Cherished grandmother of Alan, Sadie and Karen Campbell, Jacqueline, Leanna and Deanna Shlemkevych and seven great grandchildren. Dear sister of Anna Zelinski predeceased 2004. Dear sister in law of Mary Pitura, Natalka Fisch and Doris Suslyk all of Sudbury. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 2 pm. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
