TYNDALL, Edward "Neil" In loving memory of Edward Neil Tyndall, 91 years of Sudbury, who passed away Monday evening, July 19, 2004 at St. Joseph's Villa, Sudbury. He was born in Tuckersmith Township, Huron County and grew up in the Seaforth area. Neil was a well respected teacher with the Sudbury Board of Education. He retired as the technical director for the Board in 1973 with 33 years service. He was a member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario. A man of faith he was a member of St Andrew's United Church and a former member of the YMCA Wismen Club. Always an active person Neil enjoyed square dancing, and socializing with his friends. He spent many happy times at his island camp on Lake Nipissing. The light of Neil's life enlightened many students and staff and inspired them to learn and live well. In the spirit of St Paul, Neil can echo the words "I have fought the good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith." Beloved husband of Dorothy (Willoughby) Tyndall (1991) and Lura (Schneider) Tyndall (1998) both predeceased. Loving father of Sheila Tyndall of Sudbury and Ross Tyndall predeceased 1984. Dear stepfather of Peter Schneider (wife Lucette) of Sudbury. Cherished son of Harry and Agnes (Murray) Tyndall predeceased. Dear brother of Robert "Bob" Tyndall of Seaforth, Murray Tyndall and Violet Broadfoot both predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday, July 23, 2004 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
