PALAKOVIC, Katarina In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away June 20, 1985. A golden heart stopped beating Your gentle hands at rest, God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best. You suffered much in silence, Your spirit did not bend, You faced your pain with courage, Until the very end. You tried so hard to stay with us, Your fight was all in vain, God took you in His loving home, To free you from your pain. So keep Your arms around her, Lord, And give her special care, Make up for all her suffering, That seems to me unfair. So many times I needed you, So many times I cried, If love could have saved, You never would have died. It broke my heart to lose you, But you did not go alone, But part of me went with you The day God called you home. What would I give to hold your hands, Your happy face to see. To hear your voice and see your smile, That meant so much to me. What you suffered, you told but few, You didn't deserve what you went through. Each day I pray and deeply hope That God will give me strength to cope. Your memory is a keepsake with which we'll never part. God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart. --Always in our hearts and minds, sadly missed by daughter Barbara, granddaughter Sandy, grandson Tom, and great-granddaugther Kim.
