Elizabeth Shadd, Belle River, died peacefully on Dec. 14, 1999, after a short illness. She was 62 years old. Mrs. Shadd was a native of Kapuskasing before relocating to Belle River, Ontario, six years ago. She was a member of the Legion in Belle River, was an avid golfer, bowler and darts player, who enjoyed cooking and often offered her services as a caterer. She is survived by her husband Terry Shadd; sons Barry (Linda) Shadd of Kapuskasing, and Bruce (Sue) Shadd of Perry Sound; daughter Kim (Mitch) of Belle River, and Cindy (Dave) of Sault Ste. Marie; and sister Ethel (Norm) Martin of Moonbeam. Mrs. Shadd had six grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at Midlay Funeral home in Belle River on Dec. 16, 1999.
