Sofija Lemaich July 16, 1901 -November 29, 1999 It is with great sadness that the family of Sofija Lemaich, on Monday, November 29, 1999, in her 99th year, at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Ilija (Eli). Loving mother of Mike, Mary, Fiscus, Sam and his wife Mary, and Millie Stremble. Proud grandmother of Tim, Leigh, Michael, Kosanne, Glen and Dennis. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Sofija will be greatly remembered with many wonderful memories from all who truly knew and loved her. Sofija was a life long member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthadox Catherdral and a long time member of the KSS "Kraljica Marija" (Queen Mary). The family will receive relatives and friends at the L. G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa St. North (544-1147) on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Pomen at 7: 30pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday from St. Nicholas Serbian Orthadox Catherdral (Nash Rd) at 11am with the Very Reverend Fathers Stevo Stojsavljevich, and Lazar Vukojev officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
