LALONDE Emmanuel 1912-1999 The family announces with great sorrow his death at the Golden Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, October 24, 1999 at the age of 87 years. Husband of the late Alice Lalonde (December 27, 1998). Dear father of Annette (Mrs. Martial Gelinas) of Timmins, the late Maurice and Denis (wife Bonnie) of Ottawa and daughter-in-law Madeleine Lalonde of Vancouver. Grandfather of Raymond Gelinas (wife Colleen), Andre, Susanne (Mrs. Rodney Howson), Marc Lalonde, Michelle Lalonde-Yeu, Nathalie Lalonde (husband Dave Anderson) and Kimberly Anne Lalonde. Great grandfather of Brandon, Brittany, Kevin and Maxwell. Survived by his brother Aristide Harry of Timmins and two sisters-in-law Violet Lalonde of Onaping and Bernice Boots Lalonde of British Columbia. Predeceased by his siblings: Simone Sears, Roger Lalonde, Norman Lalonde, Aselme Sam Lalonde and Liliane. Brother-in-law of Lilian Rochefort (husband Jean-Pierre) of Ashton and Irene Blanchard of Timmins. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Emmanuel was born on July 17, 1912 in Cobalt, Ontario. He has been a resident of Timmins since 1937. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 1999 from Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimers Society, the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Martyn de Porres would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 25, 1999 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins.(The Daily Press)
