AMYOTTE, Rita (née Duchesne) The family announces with sorrow her death, December 7th, 1999, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (Laurentian Site), at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of Gérard Amyotte of Sudbury. Daughter of the late Eusebe Duchesne and of the late Pleina Duchesne (née Demers). Loving mother of Antoine “Tony” (wife Denise) and Mrs. Dorianne Legault (husband Denis) both of Hanmer, Levis “Chick” (wife Ginette) of Chelmsford, Roger (wife Claire) of Washago, ON, Paul (wife Lynn) of St. Catharines and Mrs. Denise Costain (husband Dave) of Prince Edward Island. Predeceased by one daughter Paulette Jean. Dear sister of Urbain (wife Jeanne D’Arc) and Mrs. Argentine Giroux both of North Bay, Gérald of Embrun, P.Q., Bertrand (wife Elzire) and Patrick (wife Cécile) both of Bonfield, Mrs. Pierrette Lafantaisie (husband Conrad) of Pembroke, Mrs. Patricia Morin (husband Maurice) of Astorville and Léo of Montréal. She was also predeceased by her brothers Loriant and Théodore. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Amyotte was a seamstress for many years. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, (corner of Lasalle and Notre Dame) Sudbury, on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, December 10th, at 11 a.m. in St-Marguerite D’Youville Church, Val Caron.
