GAGNON Albert 1922-1999 Albert Gagnon died peacefully surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer, on Monday, December 13, 1999 at the Golden Manor Nursing Home where he had resided for over a year. He was 77 years of age. Loving husband of Doloza (nee Plante). Dear father of Gaætan (wife Lori) of Timmins, Nicole (husband Denis Hamilton) of Elliot Lake, Huguette (husband Onil Deschatelets), Carole (husband Graham Bushey), Christiane (late husband Rick Boucher), Roger (wife Monica), Marcelle (husband Mario Tambeau) and Guylaine (husband Jacques Bastien) all of Timmins. Brother of Noæl (wife Gail), Herve (wife Lucienne) and RenÄ all of Timmins, Gaston (wife Yvette) of Tourville, Bertrand (wife Therese) of St. Pamphyl, P.Q. and Rose (husband Lucien Joncas) of Tourville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sons Jean-Marie and Michel, and his siblings: Antoine, Sylvio, Albertine Cote, Germaine Gamache, Irene Ouellet and Florida Daigle. Albert was born on April 1, 1922 in Tourville, P.Q. He had been a resident of Timmins since 1966. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 1999 from St. Anthonys Cathedral. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 14, 1999 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.(The Daily Press)
