10th Anniversary EDWARD KING SR. August 8, 1915 - January 19, 1996 Loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather and true friend. All his life, those who were privileged to be around him, knew his generosity and his simplicity. Above all he was devoted to his family and to his friends. He had a nature you could not help loving, and a heart that was purer than gold. Ever a gentleman, he was firm in his principles and fiercely loyal; he had a unique sense of humour. His gifts of boundless charm, wit and compassion were a blessing to all who knew him and worked with him. He was a good man. He was many things to many people. He was our "hero" and our inspiration. "It matters not how a man dies, but how he lives". Love, Mom, Gloria and Richard Published in the Montreal Gazette on 1/19/2006
