MARLES MATHEWSON Today we lost a very special person, Marles Mathewson, 58, who passed away at McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont. peacefully with her family by her side. Marles is survived by her husband, Darwin; daughter, Sheila (Kaarlo) Viljanen; son, Shane (Marilyn) Mathewson; daughter-in-law, Lynn (Curt) Perrier; and six grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Viljanen, Eric Mathewson, Adam Schutte, and Marilyn and Ashley Davis. Also surviving are one sister, LaDonna Klem; three brothers, Buzz (Marlene) McGauley, Ralph (Doris) McGauley, and Dennis (Lorraine) McGauley; and several nieces, nephews, and foster children. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 1, 2000 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Jenkens Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 2, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Jenkens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
