VINCENT MAYNARD SILVER Vincent Maynard Silver, beloved husband of Betty Silver (nee Rumney), passed away on November 22, 2000 at his resident in North Bay, Ont. at the age of 80. Dearly beloved father of Donald (Barbara) of Kapuskasing, Ont., Bill (Betty) of North Bay, Ont., Elaine Duke (Marcel) of Porcupine, Ont., Judy Lamontagne (Gerald) of Kapuskasing, Ont., Kathy Giles (Kip) of Kapuskasing, Ont., and Patti Silver (Rudy Scalise) of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Silver; and five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Vernon Silver, Edlar (Nola), Gerald, Hildred Wenstrom, and Verna Lewis (John). Predeceased by a son, Robert; his parents, Ellen and Gerhard Silver; a sister, Signald Cain; and four brothers, Fritz, Ron, Erling, and Richard Silver. Visitation was Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:15 a.m. at the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow. Donations to the Northeastern Ontario Cancer Research.
