Sebastienne Dufour, 45 Ontario St., Kapuskasing, died peacefully at the Extendicare Nursing Home on Oct. 2, 2000. She was 82 years old. Mrs. Dufour was born Sept. 12, 1918 in Moonbeam. She worked at a tree nursery until retiring in 1976. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading and cooking and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Dufour was predeceased by her husband Cyprien, mother Victoria, father André-Albert, sister Marie-Claire Desgroseillier and brothers Famille, Hervy and Henri. She is survived by sons Maurice (Irma) of Kap and Gaston (Denise) of Moonbeam, sisters Yvonne of Fauquier and Germaine of Hamilton and brother Jean of Kap. Mrs. Dufour had six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at Nativité de Marie in Moonbeam. Cremation will follow.
