Hélène Maria Carter, 104-14 McPherson Ave., Kapuskasing, died at Timmins and District Hospital on June 10, 2000. She was 79 years old. Mrs. Carter was born May 29, 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She enjoyed making ceramics. Mrs. Carter was predeceased by son Thomas, daughter Elizabeth Anne an brothers Henry, Albert, Joe, Omer and Arthur. She is survived by husband Donald, son Tim (Lorraine) of Kapuskasing and brother Hubert of Winnipeg. Mrs. Carter had two granddaughters: Lindsay and Danielle. Rev. Léo Papineau directed the funeral service at the Guenette Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Carter will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
