Victorien Joseph Levesque, 101 Devonshire, Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on May 15, 2000. He was 75 years old. Mr. Levesque was born Jan. 14, 1925 in Sayabec, Quebec. He worked at the K. C. Mill until retiring in 1987. He was a second world war veteran, a member of La Forge and the Knights of Columbus an enjoyed playing cards. Mr. Levesque is survived by wife Rita and daughters Roberte (Denis) Daoust of Sudbury, Denise (Brian) Keown, Jeannine (David) Culverhouse and Fleurette (Howard) Anderson, all of Kapuskasing, Louise (Rae) McFee of Port Colbourne, Rolande Hahn of Hull, and Madeleine (Jack) Priscott of Thunder Bay. Also surviving are sisters Carmen Kowaluk of Kapuskasing and Marcelle Voyer of Ottawa and brother Joseph of Brandon. He had six grandchildren. Rev. Paul Letendre will direct the funeral service tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée Conception Church. Mr. Levesque will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
