Wasyl ZWARYCZUK

Wasyl Zwaryczuk, 33 Marquette St., Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on May 6, 2000. He was 86 years old. Mr. Zwaryczuk was born Dec. 13, 1913 in Kosulno, Poland and moved to the area in 1951. He worked as a labourer for a construction firm until retiring in 1978. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid artifact collector. Mr. Zwaryczuk was predeceased by his son Zbiniew, one sister and one brother. He is survived by wife Zofia, sons Walter (friend Linda) of Moonbeam and Zygment (Nicole) of Kap and daughters Maria (Joe) Matzelle of Kap and Donna (Eric) Murphy of Oromocto, New Brunswick. Mr. Zwaryczuk had eight grandchildren: Jessica, Joey, Ryan, Shawn, Sarah, Chad, Danute and Celina and four great grandchildren: Morgan, Alexander, Philip and Patricia. Rev. Jean-Paul Decarie will direct the funeral service tomorrow at St. Patrick Church at 11 a.m. Mr. Zwaryczuk will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
