Marie-Louise Tousignant, 1 Pelletier Ave., Moonbeam, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on April 13, 2000, after a short illness. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Tousignant was born Oct. 11, 1914 in Trois-Pistole, Quebec. She worked in the Spruce Falls Nursery. She was a member of the Golden Age Club, Daughters of Isabella and l'Union Culturelle. Mrs. Tousignant was predeceased by her husband Charles-Edouârd, parents Isidore and Marie-Philomène, grandson Pascal, one sister and her brothers. She is survived by sons Normand (Lucille) and Aldéi (Louisette), both of Kapuskasing and Yvon (Hélène) of Val Rita and Daughter Rachel (Georges) Tremblay of Moonbeam. Mrs. Tousignant had nine grandchildren: Jacques, Martine, Jocelyne, Pierre, Lucie, Marcel, Guylaine, Julie and Denis and six great grandchildren: Danny, Louanne, Jeffrey, Sophie, Corey and Kevin. The funeral service was directed at Nativité de Marie in Moonbeam. Mrs. Tousignant will be interred at the Moonbeam cemetery.
