Bernard Charpentier, 8 Hill St., Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on March 9, 2000. He was 57 years old. Mr. Charpentier was born August 17, 1942 in Moonbeam. He worked as a lumberjack an machine operator in the wood industry. He enjoyed camping, travelling, playing Nintendo, and working around the house. Mr. Charpentier was predeceased by his parents Juliette and Honorius, sister Juliette Charpentier and brothers Joe, Jules and Gérard. He is survived by wife Georgette; daughters Sylvie (Dwayne) Potvin of Ottawa, Colette (Daniel) Plourde of Timmins, Lucie (Guiseppe) Bilucaglia of Harty, Louise Charpentier of Kap and son Claude Charpentier, also of Kap. Also surviving are sisters Thérèse Nolet, Ange-Aimée Nadeau, Marguerite Nadeau, Madeleine Boudreau, Sally Veilleux, Monique Séguin, Juliette Garand and Julienne Desbiens, all of Kap. Mr. Charpentier had three grandchildren: Curtis Potvin, Valérie Charpentier and Joey Bilucaglia. Rev. Roger Pronovost directed the funeral service at Notre Dame des Victoires. Mr. Charpentier will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
