Jean-Marc Gauthier, 250 Government Road, Moonbeam, died at home on Jan. 7, 2000, after a long illness. He was 31 years old. Mr. Gauthier was born April 30, 1968 in Kapuskasing. He worked as a lawyer with Perras, Gauthier, Montgenais, Tremblay and Filion. He was a member of the Jeanne Sauvé Centre and Club Richelieu and enjoyed hockey and karate. Mr. Gauthier is survived by wife Sylvie, sons Alexandre and Jérémy, parents Rosario and Jacques of Moonbeam, sister Monique Gauthier of Harty and brothers Jean-Pierre of Kap and Eric of Moonbeam. Also surviving are parents-in-law Georgette and Wilfrid Gosselin, brothers-in-law Dave Wendel, John Sadowsky, Guy Gosselin (Sue) and Denis Gosselin (Ginette), and sisters-in-law Nicole Landry (Augustin) and Aline Néron (Benoit). The funeral service was held at Nativity of Mary in Moonbeam. Mr. Gauthier will be interred at the Moonbeam cemetery.
