Acouthai 'Archie' Martino , of Kapuskasing Death: May 6th, 2000 Acouthai (Archie) Martino, 6 Montcalm, Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on May 6, 2000, after a short illness. He was 84 years old. Mr. Martino was born Oct. 20, 1905 in Cochrane. He worked as a mechanic for the federal government until retiring in 1970. He was a sensitive, strong person who enjoyed music, reading, car racing and gardening. Mr. Martino was predeceased by his wife Annie, son James Murphy, and parents Louisa and John. He is survived by sons Mike (Margaret) Murphy of Thorald, Brian (Denise) Murphy of London, Raymond, and Bob of Vancouver, BC, and daughters Josie (Jean-Claude) Godard of Kap, Sheila Mironuk of Winnipeg, and Lorraine (Bill) Armstrong of Brandon, Manitoba. Mr. Martino had 24 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The funeral service was held at the Genier Gauthier Funeral Home chapel.
