VERMES, Ilona (nee Ulbitz). 1911 - 2000. Peacefully at the age of eighty-eight, surrounded by her family, on February 19, 2000. Will be greatly missed by Bela, her devoted husband of sixty years, her loving daughters Anna (Sandor), Agnes (Derek), granddaughters Aniko Edvi (Isti), Kathy and Linda Jakucs and their father Laszlo, wonderful great-grandchildren Krisztina and Ocsi, also relatives in Europe, Australia and U.S.A. as well as many friends. Visitations at Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Ave. (corner Stuart), Montreal on Monday, February 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. Prayer gathering at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Hungary Church, 90 Guizot St. West, Montreal, Tuesday at 11 a.m. Thence to Mount Royal Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross, P.O. Box 2000, St. Michel Station, Montreal, Quebec, H2A 3M3, will be greatly appreciated.
