MALLETT, Mildred Edey (nee Dawson) In hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2000, in her 77th year, dearest wife and best friend for 54 years of Roy. Loving mother of Rick (Carol), Joan (Allistair) and Bev. Cherished grandmother of Christiane and Sylvie Mallett. Sister of Bob (Olive) Dawson, Merna (Alan) Hemphill, Marjorie (Joe) Granger, Isabell Deacon (late Eddie) and the late Walton (late Olive) Dawson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mildred cared and worried about everyone she knew, she always put them before herself. She will be cherished and thought about by all who knew her. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Lung Association would be appreciated. Special thanks to the caring nursing staff at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus, to Drs. Laevski and Dales for their kindness and sensitivity and to Drs. Westwick, Adams and Schramm for their care.
