FRANCIS, A-Norton. Peacefully in Ottawa, February 21, 2000, after a brief battle with cancer. He was predeceased by Mary (nee Paterson), his beloved wife of fifty-eight years. He will be remembered with love by his four children and their partners, Joan McKenzie (Michael) of Newport, N.S., Eleanor Hender (Byron) of West Vancouver, Barbara Stuart (Peter) of Halifax and John Francis of Vancouver. His grandchildren Lara, Gillian, Andrew and Sarah McKenzie, Christopher and Katherine Stuart will treasure their memories of him - especially the good times in Metis. The family wishes to say thank you for the excellent care provided by the Ottawa Hospital's Civic Campus. A private family service will be held in Ottawa on Friday, February 25.
