THOMAS _ Kathleen Jane Louisa ("Kay, Grangor") passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2000 at Royal Columbian Hospital. Predeceased by husband Leslie. Survived by her daughter Ann and son-in-law Wayne, grandsons Ken (Clare), Matthew, and granddaughter Sandra (Zbyszek) and great-grandchildren Zosha, Kirsten and Bailey. Kay was born in Toronto in 1912 and moved with her family to Burnaby in 1930 where she lived for most of her life. She will be lovingly remembered for her passions in life which were involvement with Girl Guides as a life member, Brown Owl, (2 packs); Burnaby area music adviser; founding member and Past President of the Burnaby Royal Trefoil Guild. Service to be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, February 28th, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Reception follows. In lieu of flowers received we would like donations to Sunny Hill Hospital or a charity of your choice.(The Vancouver Sun)
