DOYLE, M. Eileen. The death of Mrs. Mary Eileen Doyle, of Rocmaura Nursing Home, wife of the late Gerald Michael Doyle, occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Armstrong Brook, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late James Elias and Katherine (MacDonald) Doyle. Eileen was a graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Montreal, Quebec, in 1935, and worked there for several years during the war. She is survived by two sons, Terrence W. Doyle (Felicity) of Killingworth, Connecticut and Michael E. Doyle (Cynthia) of Rothesay, one daughter, Katherine Jane Cameron (Ian) of Vancouver, British Columbia, one sister, Katherine Hayes of Nash Creek, six grandchildren, Conal, Ronan, Fiona, Andrew, Sarah and Matthew, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Jack Doyle and one sister, Marion Culligan. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception on Friday, February 25, 2000 at 12 noon. Following cremation, interment will take place at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Jacquet River, New Brunswick. Remembrances to the Saint John Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
