FREILL, Kathleen Estelle Cecelia "Chickie" (nee Gilmour). Courageously at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on February 22, 2000 at the age of eighty-two. Predeceased by her beloved husband James Edward (June 1997) of fifty-one years. Loving mother and buddy to Peter and his wife Linda of Oakville and Robert and his wife Margaret of St. John, N.B. Devoted Nanny to Peter John, Adam Patrick, Lori Lynn, Jennifer Ellen and Sean, Moira, Bryan, Liam, Deirdre. Great-grandma to Emma. Predeceased by her six sisters and three brothers, all of Montreal. Beloved daughter of John Gilmour and Ellen Cooney of Montreal. Chick's constant smile and caring nature touched us all. Friends were received at the Ward Funeral Home, Oakville Chapel, Ontario (905) 844-3221 on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Ascension of Our Lord Roman Catholic Parish, (Sherbrooke and Kitchener) on Monday, February 28 at 11 a.m. Visitation half an hour prior to mass at the Church. Burial to follow at Cote des Neiges Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital or to the Diabetes Association.
