GREER, Wilbert E. (Veteran of WWII, R.C.A.S.C., 1942-1945, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 244, Perth). In hospital, Perth, on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2000, Wilbert E. Greer in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Alice I. (Sergeant) Greer. Dear father of Beverly (Jack) Stresman of Pembroke and the late Bryan Greer of Perth. Loved grandfather of Lori (Paul) Hoffman of Kanata and Dean (Suzanne) Stresman of Nepean and Bryan (Tracy) Greer of Kanata and great-grandfather of Taylor and Megan Hoffman, Noah Greer and Sara Stresman. Brother of Edna Moore of Edmonton, Stewart Greer of Vancouver and the late Ernie, Lloyd and Bob Greer and Lila McVeigh. Wilbert will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, Thursday, February 24th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated. A Veteran's Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
