HUGHES, John W. (Jack). Of Stittsville, peacefully at Ottawa, on Wednesday, February 23, 2000, in his eighty-fourth year. Loving husband of Gladys Green for fifty-eight years. Predeceased by his only daughter, Jo-Ann (Chuck Loucks). He will be sadly missed by his son John, daughter-in-law Cheryl, grand-children Christina Hartman (Michael), Andrew Dorio, Jack Hughes and Bill Hughes (Sarah), great-grandson Gage, as well as members of his extended family and his many friends. At Jack's request there will be no visitation and the funeral will be private. He would want to be remembered with a kind thought and a smile.
