BROWN, Lloyd Findlay. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband and father, Lloyd Brown, age sixty-eight years, on Thursday, February 24, 2000 in Florida. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Graham) Brown. Loving father of Rick Brown and his wife Lyne Desforges of Lachine, Quebec, Nancy and her husband Peter McRae of Hamilton and Laurie and her husband Glenn Welch of Burlington. Much loved Grampa of Mitchell Findlay, Courtney, Keyne, Leigh, Alex, McKenzie and John Lloyd. Lloyd was a graduate of McGill University and a retired employee of Dupont Canada. He was active in his former community of Dorval, Quebec and more recently very involved in his church community at Port Nelson. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), Burlington (632-3333), on Tuesday, February 29 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Port Nelson United Church, 3132 South Drive (at Rossmore), Burlington on Wednesday, March 1, 2000 at 3 p.m., the Reverend Don Parsons officiating. Cremation to follow. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Port Nelson United Church Memorial Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
