Leliane Laura LACASSE

HOULE, Leliane Laura (nee Lacasse) On Friday, February 25, 2000 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Adrien Houle. Daughter of the late Joseph Lacasse and Rose-Anna Desjardins. She will be sadly missed by her children Conrad (Edmonde Michaud), Therese (Leo Giroux), Normande (Jean-Marie Dumouchel), Maurice (Ginette Fauvelle), Noella (Claude Desrochers), Jeannine (late Jean-Guy Paquette), Raymond (Louise Dumouchel) and Lise Demers. Foster mother of Gerard Amadei. She is also survived by a special friend Emily Grouette-McIntyre who was like a family member, by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, by her sisters Albertine (Camille Lebel), Yvonne (late Julien Larocque), her sister-in-law Valeda (late Leo Houle), many nieces, nephews and friends. Also predeceased by her brothers Hector, Leon, Rodolphe, Alphonse, Elzear and Rolland and by her sisters Laurence, Rose-Anna and Antoinette. She was an active member of Filles d'Isabelle du Cercle de Vanier 1193 and Club 60 of Vanier. She will be resting at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Homes, (241-3680), 300 Olmstead Street, Vanier, Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 28 at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Vanier at 10 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
