Sterling Kenneth MACNEILL

MACNEILL, Sterling Kenneth 74 yrs. Died peacefully at home in the care of his loving family on February 25, 2000. He was best friend and beloved husband of 50 years to Lois (LeFave) MacNeill. A wonderful father to Laura (MacNeill) Rochemont, Ewen and Bruce MacNeill. Father-in-law and friend to Mark Rochemont, Kim MacNeill and Patricia Boisjoli. "Papa" to Brandon, Joel, Andrew MacNeill; Meghan and Kaelyn Rochemont. Brother and brother-in-law to Joan and Bob Segoentag, Patricia MacNeill, Sylvia Percy, Helen McKinnon, Donna Howles, James and Cathy MacNeill, John MacNeill, Mary and Richard Lindsey, Patricia McKeown, Harvey and Mary LeFave and Margaret MacPherson. Predeceased by his parents Greta Viola (Jonah) MacNeill and A.E. Sterling MacNeill; stepmother and friend Margaret Jane Gray (MacDonald) MacNeill, dear mother-in-law Florence Margaret LeFave (Nana). Sister and brother-in-law Joy and Fred Stevens, Victor Percy, Len McKeown, Bill MacPherson; nephew Don McKeown, niece Hannah MacPherson and niece Kathy Percy. In W.W.II Ken served overseas with the Princess Patricia Infantry. He worked in the dairy industry since 1947 and served the tri county area as a refrigeration engineer. Over the years Ken kept strong ties with relatives in his beloved Prince Edward Island. He is survived by his aunts Delite Boswell and Elsie MacNeill; his cousins Kay MacDonald, Alma and Elmer Jenkins, Stanley and Jean MacNeill, Barton and Helen MacNeill and Arnold and Olga MacNeill. He is resting at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home & Chapel 68 Giles Blvd. E. at Goyeau St. on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday March 1, 2000, at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Wendy Paterson officiating. Cremation with interment at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.
