Veronica MURPHY

MICHALISZYN, Veronica (nee Murphy). 1925 to 2000. On Monday morning, February 28, 2000 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Went with peace and dignity into God's loving arms. Beloved wife of the late Robert Michaliszyn. Loving mother to Linda (Massimo Brunetti) and Colleen (Leonard Waring). Adored grandmother of Cristoforo (Sarah), Roberto and Domenico Brunetti, Marcia McIntyre, Kenneth and Jason Waring. Sister to Monica (Kenneth) and Theresa, the late Joseph and Justin. Sister-in-law to Rose. She also leaves to mourn her nieces and nephews. All who knew her were touched by her strength, wisdom, courage and her zest for life. The family will receive relatives and friends at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1750 Notre Dame, Lachine on Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The funeral ceremony will be held Thursday, March 2, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill, Pointe Claire, thence to the Field of Honour. She will be sadly missed by all her friends, especially those at the Edwin Crawford Residence.
