CAMPEAU, Raymond 70 years, peacefully on Feb. 29, 2000 with all his family at his side. Late of Belle River and formerly of Tecumseh. Beloved husband of 49 years to Florence (nee Blais). Loving father of Suzanne Argent and fiance Bud Doe, Ray and Brian, both of Tecumseh. Dear father-in-law of the late Maryanne. Son of the late Raymond and Bella (nee Lesperance). Dear pepe of Richard and wife Liza, Tina and husband Mike Cousineau, Tammy; Jessica, Sheila and Nicki; Penny and Mellissa. Great-grandfather of Cassie, Ashley, Brandon and Ryan. Dear brother of Barb Jacques, Doreen and husband Bert St. Pierre, Marcella McNorton and the late Pearl Tomes, Marjorie Bernard, and Pauline Blais. Ray was an active Parishioner and will be missed by the St. William's Parish and by many relatives and friends throughout Windsor and Tecumseh. He was a former house mover with Desjardins. Visiting Thurs. and Fri. 2-5 and 7-9pm. Prayers Fri. at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Sat. Mar. 4, at 10 am. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy a donation to the wishes of the family would be appreciated. The compassionate and supportive care to Raymond and his family from the staff at Metropolitan Hospital, especially nurses Lorrett and Margo will be fondly remembered. The family appreciates all the kind thoughts and prayers by friends and family. A tree will be planted in memory of Raymond Campeau in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.(The Windsor Star)
