MARTIN, Jean Cherry (nee Argue) Retired Assistant Secretary, Treasury Board of Canada On Thursday March 2, 2000 at Ottawa, Jean Martin, dear wife of the late Edward A. Martin passed away. She was the loving and cherished mother of Leslie Martin Moody (Cec) of Toronto, Randall Martin (Laurel) of Ottawa and Cherry Martin Hill (Alan) of Toronto; the most amazing and wonderful grandmother to John and Adam Moody, Brent, Andrew and Hilary Martin, Scott, Susannah and Matt Hill. A dear sister of Marguerite Moore (Charles "Maj"), and the late Lorraine Ferguson (Don), and a special and sweet auntie Jean to her nieces and nephews. Jean was a distinguished public servant, a friend and mentor to so many. She found joy in every aspect of life and "We shall not see her like again." Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, (at Roosevelt) on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday at All Saints Anglican Church, 347 Richmond Road at 10 a.m. Interment Norway Bay, Quebec.
