DENTON, Ronald Lyman. B.Sc. MD. CM. FRCP (C). Dearly loved and respected husband for fifty-nine years of Diana MacDougall Denton, died peacefully in hospital in Sherbrooke, Quebec following a brief illness on Monday, March 6, 2000 in his eighty-eighth year. Devoted and beloved father of Susan Mar, Vancouver, Derek, Delta, B.C. and Timothy Denton, Ottawa. Cherished Gumm and grandpa of Andrea and Jennifer Mar, Lisa, Catherine and Christopher, Emily, Graham and Hugh Denton. Survived by his sisters Dorothy Chamberlin and Marjorie Eamer. The celebration of his life and burial in Reedsville Cemetery will take place in the late spring. In his memory, donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, 2300 Tupper Street, Mtl. H3H 1P3, McGill University Foundation, H3A 2T5 or Bishop's University Foundation, Lennoxville, Quebec J1M 1Z7 will be greatly acknowledged by his family.
