ELLIS Lawrence-Kenneth Ellis: Lawrence Kenneth The family announces with sorrow, his death at the Anson General Hospital, in Iroquois Falls, Monday, March 6th, 2000, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of 40 years to Betty (nee: Foster), and dearest father of Clifford MacDougall. Mr. Ellis will be fondly remembered by his brothers Clifford, Ivan, his twin brother Clarence and his sister Mary. Dear Grandfather of Kenneth, Kevin and Angela MacDougall, Dwayne and Melinda James and by several great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents Fred and Hannah Ellis, his daughter Marleen, by his brothers Walter and Fred and by his sisters; Evelyne, Peggy, Laura, Vera and Mabel. He retired in 1985 after 38 years with Abitibi Consolidated as a pipefitter. He was a member of the Masons and an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be missed by many. Family and friends may call at the Salon FunÄraire Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 DeTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 9th, 2000, at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kelly Hudson officiating. Spring interment at the Porquois Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. (The Daily Press)
