MONFORTON, Sandra "Sandy" (nee Lamont) 56 years of age. Passed away peacefully on March 6, 2000 after a courageous struggle with cancer with her family at her side at the Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) of 40 years. Predeceased by her parents Mearl 1969 and Florence 1994. Loving mother of Jo-Anne and husband Ken, Michael and wife Jennifer, Janet and husband Roger (Butch). Cherished meme of Nicole, Brian, Marc, Corey, Cody and Cole. Dear sister of Bonnie and husband Lionel. Leaving behind 1 niece and 5 nephews. Best friend of Nora Johnston of many years. Sandy was a former member of the R.C.L. Branch 364. A special thanks to Dr. Bill Piganelli and to Bridgette and Dana from St. Elizabeth's Health Centre, and to Heidi and the Nurses of 4 North at Metropolitan Campus and to the Palliative Care. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday 7-9p.m. & Wednesday 2-5 & 7-9p.m. Funeral service to be held on Thursday March 9, 2000 at 10:00a.m. in the Windsor Chapel. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
