Hector Alphonse VADNAIS

VADNAIS, Hector Alphonse Dec. 22, 1930 - March 6, 2000 With great sorrow we announce the passing of Hector, 69 years, peacefully at the Metropolitan Hospital. Dearest husband to Violet (Popovich) and loving father to Randy and wife Marilou and Bonnie and husband Brent Poliquin. Proudest "Grampy" to his beloved Whitney Rae, Rory Justin and Marshall Alexander Vadnais and Brandon Alan and Brittany Nicole Poliquin. Son of the late Philemon (1980) and Beatrice (Duval) (1993). Brother of the late Leo Beaudoin (1999), Donald (1989) and Rev. Ernest, C.S.B. (1975). Hector was a retiree from Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd., was a long time and proud member of the Bishop J.T. Kidd Council 4924 Knights of Columbus and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255. Visiting Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Legion Service Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. K of C prayers Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh to the St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy a donation to the Oncology Furnishing Fund 4 North - Palliative of the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Hector Vadnais, in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.(The Windsor Star)
