MYERS, Michael (Mike) A resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Thamesview Lodge, Chatham on Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at the age of 44 years. He was born in Windsor on March 4, 1956. He was a former employee of Motor Wheel for 15 years. He was the son of Annette (Durocher) Myers of Chatham and the late Leonard Myers (1995). Beloved husband and best friend of Jane Metcalfe. Dear father of Michael Jr. Joshua and Ryan of Chatham. Dear brother of Connie Scoggins of Belle River, Elaine Poisson and husband Milburn of Belle River, Marty Myers and wife Denise of Chatham, Ken Myers and friend Jan of Guelph, Denise Haines and husband Mark of Chatham, Cheryl Gilhula of Chatham, Rick Myers of Chatham and Gary Myers and wife Marcella of Toronto. Dearest grandson of Bella Durocher and the late Rene. Mike will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 11, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Jim Williams officiating. Cremation with interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to the Michael & Joshua Myers Educational Fund appreciated.
