GALLAGHER, Joyce Elizabeth (nee Dwyer). At the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus, Thursday, March 9, 2000, Joyce Elizabeth of Pembroke, age sixty-four, while surrounded by her loving family and after a courageous struggle with cancer. Beloved wife and companion of John Gallagher. Cherished and devoted mother of David Neville and his wife Julie; Ann Marie Schmidt and her husband Brad; Cathy Lapointe and her husband Donnie; Brenda Neville and her husband Barry Sullivan. Dear step-mother of John Gallagher, Erin Geary, David Gallagher, Eileen McPhee and Kathryn Gallagher. Beloved Nanny to Stephanie, Christopher, Alex, Rachel, Brittany, Carly, Tyson, Sarah, Michael, Cameron, Stewart and Jessica and many step-grandchildren. Joyce was also a beloved sister to the late Doreen Volk and is lovingly remembered by her sister Rita Green and many nieces and nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. Funeral Monday to Divine Infant Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. followed by cremation.
