GOOLD, Dorothy May (nee Alexander) Peacefully at the Glebe Centre, after a lengthy illness, on Friday, March 10, 2000, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Goold. Loving mother of Kay Denison (the late William), Cecil (Gloria), William (Joyce), John (Beverly) and Edward (Jackie). Dearly remembered by Gary Holtz (Brenda). Special "Nana" of 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Charles and Mary Ann Alexander, step-mother Helen Alexander, sisters Rose and Matilda and brother Charles. She is survived by sisters Eva, Helen, Frances, Mary, Jean, brother David and by many nieces and nephews. Caregiver to many, with a special fondness for children, Dorothy was an active member of Southminster and Westboro United Churches. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Monday, March 13 from 10 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 12 noon.
