PYLE, Dorothy (Dodie) Lilian (nee Asbury). It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Dodie Pyle after a long and courageous battle with cancer on March 12, 2000. Beloved wife of Joseph and cherished mother of her darling daughter Jo-Ann. Dearly loved sister of Audrey. Predeceased by her beloved sister Vera. Sister-in-law to Marguerite and her husband Gordon. Dodie will be lovingly remembered by her niece Cheryl and husband John. She was the much loved great-aunt to Michael, Beverly and Lindsay. She leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews and friends. Dodie will be remembered for her courage, commitment and love of her family. Special thanks to the kind and supportive staff of C.L.S.C Lasalle. At Dodie's request there will be no visitation. Private cremation. Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
