BOURQUE L-Laurier (Laurie), born March 14, 1913, passed away on March 12, 2000. Survived by his loving wife, Helen (Nellie); sons Leon (Shirley) and John (Marlene), and daughters Mary Jacob (Maury) and Loretta Tipton (Charles), 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. "A gentle man, in every sense of the word." Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, at Immaculate Conception Church at 8842 _ 119th St., Delta. Interment at Capilano View Cemetery following reception. Prayers on Thursday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.(The Vancouver Sun)
