MACDONELL, Donald John (Jack). Peacefully at the Mount Sinai Hospital Center (Palliative Care), on March 12, 2000, at the age of eighty-two. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Shannon and dearly loved brother of Anna May Perry (Calgary), Joseph Howard (Burlington), Eleanor Kavanagh (Ste. Sophie), Cecelia Grannary (Calgary), Frank (Sorel), Robert (Sarnia) and the late Angus Ranald and Clarence Alexander. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital and the Palliative care ward of the Mount Sinai Hospital Center. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Ste-Dorothee Church (rue Principale) on Friday, March 17 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Research Society would be appreciated.
