DOBSON, Albert Harvey CD. Born on November 13, 1908 in Stooke, B.C., died peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2000, Ottawa, Ontario. He is predeceased by his loving wife Jean Knowlan, his father Albert Henry Dobson of Kerkshire, England, his mother Emily Young of Victoria, B.C. and his brother Alfred Henry "Pete" of Port Alberni, B.C. Proud father of Donald Dobson (Patricia Griffin), Ottawa, Ontario and Marian (Ian McKinnon). Grandfather of Drew (Maureen), Brent (Michele Takoff), Ottawa, Kelly and Casey McKinnon, Greg McKinnon, Vancouver, Andrew and Katie, Ottawa. Great-grandfather of Brayden and Connor, Ottawa. He was a former National Film Board employee and Senior NCO Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps. He was a member of the Miriam Lodge 20, AF & AM, Vernon, B.C., past Master, Royal Alexander Masonic Lodge 104, Montreal East, Deputy District Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Quebec, a member of the Luxor Daylight Lodge 741, Ottawa and the Lord Alexander Shrine Club, Montreal. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, Ottawa, on Friday, March 17, 2000 after 1:30 p.m., followed at 3 p.m. by a service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
