Joseph J. KRATOVIL

KRATOVIL, Joseph J. Passed away on March 14, 2000 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital - Hotel Dieu Site at the age of 76 years. Beloved son of the late Charles (1958) and Margaret (1994) Kratochvila. Dearest brother of Ida Laframboise and her husband Alphonse Joseph. Dear uncle of Rick Laframboise, his wife Penny and their children Christine, Tommy and Paul; Cathy McMaster, her husband Clarke and their children Julie, Mike and Karen; Caroline Renaud, her husband John and their children Matthew and Katelynn; Patti Seguin, and her husband Bernie and their children Chris and Kyle. Dear friend of Doreen Cunningham and the late Jane Ponsford (1987). Joe retired from the Windsor Post Office after 33 years of service and was also employed for many years as a Mutuels Clerk at the Windsor Raceway. He served overseas with the Canadian Army in WWII and was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 143 and the Windsor Sportsmens Club and an avid golfer and bowler in the Windsor area. Resting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, March 17, 2000 at 9:15 a.m. from Windsor Chapel then to Our Lady of the Assumption Parish for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Prayers Thursday evening. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.(The Windsor Star)
