HARWOOD-JONES, Lorna Patton (nee Thomson) Born April 18, 1916 in Grenada, West Indies, died peacefully at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on March 16, 2000. Former Montrealer. A wonderful example and formative influence on her children, her grandchildren, her students and the members of the choirs she directed. Predeceased by her husband John of forty years. Next of kin are: Tony and Tim Harwood-Jones, Winnipeg; Janice McRae, Vienna, Austria; and Dawn Harwood-Jones, Chester, Nova Scotia - and all their spouses, their children and grandchildren. One other son, Patrick, died in 1968. Funeral will take place Monday, March 20, 2000, at St. George's Church, 168 Wilton St., Winnipeg, at 3 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Anglican church of your choice.
